Known as the Crossroads of the West, the Salt Lake City is the most populous city in the State of Utah in United States. With a population of 181,698 according to the July 2008 census, Salt Lake City is also the 126th largest city in the United States.

The City of Salt Lake was established by Brigham Young, the first governor of Utah Territory, and his group of Mormon pioneers in the year 1847. There is a distinct differentiation in the property rates in the eastern and the western portion of the city. The properties in the eastern part have a higher value than their western counterpart mainly because of the railroad being built in the western side of the city and the scenic views that highlight the eastern portion.
